05/25/2022 Conjunction Junction – From Bottom to Top and Slow to Fast

YHC hadn't posted at CJ in awhile, so when FishnChips had to pass off the Q because of a work conflict, it seemed like an invitation that I couldn't turn down. Weather was nice and cool, with a little mist.

Warmup: SSH, WMH, Manafort GMs, IW, HB, MC, PP, and slow merkin.

The Thang: 10 Sets of 9 exercises.
The goal was to get the body moving, slowly at first and then getting faster as the muscles warmed up. The exercises were Johnny Dramas, Squats, Apollo Onos, LBCs, WWIIs, Flutters, Merkins,, Dry Docks and Seal Clap. Starting off slowly – 3 counts for all the exercises (3 count up for the Dramas, 3 count down for squats, Slow cadence count for the Apollo Onos, 3 count down for WWIIs, slow cadence count for Flutters, 3 count down for merkins and dry docks, and slow cadence for Seals). 10 sets of each exercise, followed by a slow jog down the end of the parking lot and back. We then repeated it.

3rd set was done a little faster (2 count or faster IC count ), followed by a faster run. We repeated the "medium" speed. 5th set was done faster (quick up/down/fast cadence) followed by full sprint down and back. The plan was to do the fast set again, but because of the time we went to Mary.

Mary: Some dynamic stretching, plank, plank ring of fire, heels to heaven, and Homer to Marge.

COT: Harbaugh going away party on 6/18. Prayers for Slug's mom and the victims' families of the school shooting in Texas.
