YHC decided that the best way to celebrate his first F3-versary was to go back where it all started a year (technically 364 days) earlier and take the Q at The King's Dominion.
I was optimistic that mid-April would provide better weather than my previous TKD Q in November (a balmy 24), and was not disappointed when I stepped out into a beautiful 60-degree morning. A grueling 2min commute later and I was chalking notes onto the parking lot because I knew I wasn't going to remember what I had planned once we got going.

Finally a short mosey into the woods to fetch some coupons and deposit them where needed, and then back to the beginning.

I toyed with a handful of ideas before landing on a simple 6 x5 mountain, with the following stops at each row of the upper parking lot:

5x Burpees, 10x WW2s, 15x Jump Squats, 20x Plank Jacks
5x Burpees, 10x WW2s, 15x Jump Squats, 20x Plank Jacks, 25x Bent over rows (w/ coupon)
5x Burpees, 10x WW2s, 15x Jump Squats, 20x Plank Jacks, 25x Bent over rows (w/ coupon), 30x Curls (w/ coupon)
… and back again
Totals: 55x Burpees, 90x WW2s, 105x Jump Squats, 100x Plank Jacks (IC), 75x Rows, 30x Curls
Mode of travel was bear crawl or walking lunge, switching to overhead carry once we picked up the coupons at the 5th stop. It didn't take long for me to realize that leading all of this is a lot harder than just doing it, so I wound up deputizing various PAX to lead sections. Uzi was kind enough to close it out with 5 SEAL Burpees at the end. We delivered the coupons back to the deep dark woods and returned to StartEx.
