I was honored to be asked back to HoP to Q during their "RESPECT" – its been way too long. The forecast called for cold temps and constant rain – well they don't call it the House of Pain for nothing.
After it was all said and done – it proved to be a metaphor for life really……things in life can suck, but they can sure suck a whole lot less, and one can even endure those times, when you surround yourself with such good people. Today proved it.

EC: Crab Cake was game for a Circle of Weight which really ended up being a tutorial for CC on how YHC has to warm up to even consider posting at his age (we get wiser with age though) – I'm hoping this will serve him well in the next 20-30 years when he hits my current milestone.

The PAX gathered under the awning at the side of the Church – pleasantries and the usual disclaimer were given, and we were off and running.

Warm Up
PAX alternated running between the side awnings for shelter:
Run to awning: SSH IC x24, WMH IC x10
Run to opposite awning: MC's IC x15, Imperial Walker Squats IC x15
Back to other awning: Chinooks both ways IC x10, Arm Circles both ways IC x10 and Michael Phelps IC x10

The THANG
Sufficiently warmed up – we then ventured to the main parking lot – rain still pouring and water gurgling down the slope to begin the BearMuda Triangle.
3 Cones – 20-30 yards apart were positioned in the shape of a triangle. At cone #1 – x1 burpee – then bear crawl to cone #2 – x2 burpees – bear craw to cone #3 – x3 burpees, back to the first cone
Rinse and Repeat 3 times.
I'm not the creative type, so when Boucher asked me if I had planned the "BearMuda Triangle" during a cold, torrential downpour – I had to be honest – it was just coincidence. I wish I was that creative lol!

After safely making it through the triangle we headed back to the first awing for some shelter.

100 Merkins: partner #1 completes 10 Merkins while their partner planks – rinse and repeat until 100.
200 LBC's: partner #1 completes 25 LBC's while their partner does a 6 inch leg hold – rinse and repeat until 200.
300 Squats: partner #1 completes 25 squats while the other part does a low squat hold – rinse and repeat until 300.
Legs were cooked so we took a nice Mosey to get limbered up again.

Meanwhile….the rain breaks…..the birds start singing and the dawn of a new day is literally and figuratively upon us.
