Tuesday dawned fresh and crisp and, because YHC's kids are lazy, it was agreed to drive them to school on the proviso that we listened to YHC's choice of music. The Spotify algorithm/gods (they're probably the same) smiled down on that particular journey and suggested "90s House Classics" ( Https://open.spotify.com/playlist/37i9dQZF1DWTU3Zl0elDUa?si=780b6da6b001492a ) and suddenly YHC was transported back to a sweaty village hall in rural England, cutting shapes on the dancefloor and trying to impress local lovelies with all of the charm that a 15 year old might possess. Warmarama: Various movements of varying lengths, with occasional use of correct Exicon terminology. YHC has been impressed with Zook's ability to elicit stories of daring do instead of a 10 count, and elected to do the same, asking the PAX to remember back to when they failed as a teen to be used in The Thang.

The Planned Thang: A selection of 9 exercises in a descending/ascending ladder set to the pounding rhythms of the aforementioned playlist, broken up with hilarious stories of daring do from the PAX's youth.

The Actual Thang: The bloody music was too loud for YHC to think about anything other than White Lightning, 20/20 (Bobby knows), and sharing cigarettes with a girl who you hoped might touch you inappropriately at some point. YHC had to turn it down and also forgot the order of exercises and counts multiple times, he also couldn't hear the stories because of the pounding of his own heartbeat but finished up with the distinct impression that NightHawk should be in Federal jail.
