I did not have an opportunity to run through this workout the night before because of severe weather. To my chagrin, I had to modify several times, some for good reason, and others for necessity, possibly. To be honest, I was smoked from posting every day this week. I’m sure than Brotox felt the same way, but I don’t want to speak for him.
One of the favorite parts of my workout began with Brotox finishing the EC 5k before Jinx, which, of course, represents a changing of the guard. Brotox is now THE FASTEST MAN in BRIAR CHAPEL.
The warm-up consisted of a mosey to the top of the AO followed by 40 SSH and then windmills, I believe.
ME: We jumped up the soccer-field stairs twice, but it was a bit tenuous because of the rain. Following that, we ran up the stairs. Each time that we descended me completed push-ups 5x, 10x, 15x, 20x, 25x
Ran to the flag pole where we completed 30 WWI’s; ran to the top of the AO again; 30 LBC’s
Bear crawl down ramp–I then modified the workout again
Curb-to-curb: five burpees ran to curb and finished with Australian mountain climbers; ascended to 8 burpees and single-count Australian mountain climbers;
During a crawl bear movement, during this section, Brotox once again overcame Jinx–this made Jinx sad.
We moseyed to the flag pole again. 40 American Hammers, I think–mosey to top 40 flutters
Duck walk down ramp–I believe Jinx finished third; back to Pollard entrance
Mary: Princess Kate’s and box cutters
Announcements: Tuesday’s on Ice is concluding soon; Q sheets are wide open–please sign up! The Gambler is approaching and I’m not really sure what means
COT: I briefly spoke about narrowly missing a tornado in Randolph County during my commute home yesterday; I prayed for the PAX, aye.
