Welcome to the Bearmuda Triangle

September 1, 2017

WHEN: 09/01/2017
QIC: Floyd
PAX: Nickelback, Buffay, Soda Popinski, Chubbs, Pusher (FNG), Hightower, Handball, Virgo, fish and Chips, Tater Tot, Floyd (YHC)

It was gloomy. It was muggy. But the Thunder Gods were merciful and held off, and so, despite all of these things, it was a glorious morning as 11 PAX including 1 FNG rolled in to the parking deck in Hillsboro for a Floyd beatdown. It was YHC’s first visit to the D&W, a much anticipated step in YHC’s Master Q quest. As we rolled out, we grabbed a few much needed flashlights and some cones.

Mosey!

We ran down the beautiful Riverwalk trail. At least I am told it is beautiful. It was so very dark. Thank goodness for the flashlights. About halfway down this 0.6 mile trail we stopped to catch our breath with 10 burpees. That being done, we continued our journey to Gold Park.

Gold Park is also very dark.

The Thang: Bearmuda Triangle

Two triangles were set up next to each other with 6 cones, approximately 20 yards apart. The group was split into 2.

Triangle 1: Bear crawl to each cone and do 20 merkins (60 yds BC and 60 Merkins) then run to the soccer goal for 20 burpees.
Triangle 2: Crawl bear to each cone and do 20 merkins (60 yds CB 60 Merkins) then run to the playground and do 20 pull-ups.

Plank it out until everyone is done. Then switch triangles and do the one you haven’t done.

Set 2:
Triangle 1: Lunge walk to each cone and do 20 air squats (60 yd LW 60 squats). Then run to the soccer goal for 30 squat jumps.

Triangle 2: Backwards Lunge walk to each cone and do 20 air squats (60 yds WL and 60 squats) then run to playground for 20 Swerkins.

Plank it out until everyone is done. Then switch triangles and do the one you haven’t done.

Run back up the 0.6 mile Riverwalk trail. Every so often plank it out to allow us to stay together.

Mary: Not done out of time
