Two Ten Twenty

In light of February 10th, 2020 we are doing a lot of exercises with 2s,10s and 20s.

5 penalty burpees for a couple tardy dudes

20 Imperial Walkers

20 Slow Count Merkins

Main Event

Everyone ran to the brickyard and picked up 2 friends for the day.  We each held a 2-5# weights for a total of 10 extra pounds for the Main Event. 


Ricky Brick-ied to the Great Meadow Shelter where we happened to find some picnic tables.  Once we arrived we did some exercises. 

2 sets

20 reps in cadence of 5 count step ups.  Alternating step ups with a squat at the top.  On the second set we added a overhead press with the bricks.

Next thang was we paired up.  One guy ran the block around the park while the other guy did 10 pushups and held plank.     We did that twice. 

Then we Bernie Brickied in pairs.   One guy Bernie Sanders the long length of the block while the other guy did 5 burpees and held plank.   We did that twice. 

Than we Ricky Brickied back to the AO. 

Before we put the bricks down, we did some shoulder work. 

In cadence:
10 rows

10 side arm raises

10 snatches

10 overhead press

10 full body cleans with a thruster (Squat w a overhead press)

Then we put the bricks down and everyone stopped complaining. 

We had a little more time so we did a 5 push up ring of Fire.

I’ve been challenged by this quote since last summer.  Fear is a good motivator but I think gratitude is a better one.  As the challenges come at you consider all the positive things going on to keep you going.  The little moments make up our days, fill them with gratitude as you get after your calling this week.
