The Thang:
Mosey to the track behind the school. The PAX got to play with my balls.
In a formation of 3, receive the ball, control it and kick the ball across the track to the opposite PAX. Run across and get ready to receive the ball as it has made it’s way back and back again. Harder to describe than to play. Any egregious mistakes meant 5 penalty burpees for each one. At the end of round one we did 10 burpees OYO
Next, two PAX raced around the track kicking a ball, keeping it inside the track lines. Any time it went out was one penalty burpee. Two laps, while the others did squats. Everyone got a go.
BTTW – hold for as long as possible. Slug was indomitable. We held squat hold waiting for the finish. Then same deal with peoples chair, hold until you break. Harbaugh (maybe?) won this one … we held plank waiting.
Next, the slowest way yet to get around the very short track – it took 10+ minutes. Line up in plank position, the PAX at the back bear crawls to the front and then holds plank. Repeat until we made a complete circuit of the track. Grumblings ensued as we disagreed about what was a full circuit. Limey bastards were called into question. Brooking no argument, we did 10 manmakers to quell any further dissent.
To the playground. Sidecar had us do dips x 20.
10 pull ups aided by a partner. If not doing pull ups then dips and squats. It kind of worked-ish.
Back to the track, five more minutes of kicking balls. Football where we used our feet, novel to most of the PAX. Two errors, ten more burpees.
