3 PAX rolled in early for an EC ruck (Tater, Shake It, Chubbs). I wasn’t present, but I’m sure the conversation was lively and socially pertinent.

21 PAX assembled at the parking lot of Hillandale Elementary, ready for 45 minutes of Floyd-planking. Unfortunately for them, this was not that kind of workout today. Floyd is ready to start earning his patch!

Warm-Up:
SSH x 25
Air Squats x 10
Merkins x 5
Hand Release Merkins x 5
Carolina Dry Docks x 5

Stretch out anything tight.

The PAX were notified that today’s warm-up gave them all the tools that they would need to complete today’s challenge:

THE SHELL GAME
PAX were split into two teams. Each team started at opposite ends of the parking lot loop where five innocent looking cones were placed. Underneath each cone was an exercise. Under one of the cones was a golf ball. During each round, one PAX would flip over one (or more) cones. The PAX were instructed to do a certain number of reps of the exercises listed and if unlucky enough to find a golf ball, do penalty burpees. Once done, the PAX were encouraged to shuffle the cones and hide the golf ball in the hopes of tricking the other team into getting it. The team then ran to the other station and repeated.

STATION 1, 5 cones:
Merkins
Carolina Dry Docks
Jump Lunges
Side Shuffle Hop
Ski Abs

STATION 2, 5 cones:
Hand Release Merkins
Mountain Climbers
Peter Parkers
Air Squats
Squat Jumps

Round 1:
Pull one cone. Do 5 reps of that cone and 5 penalty burpees if golf ball is found.

Round 2:
One cone, 10 reps. Penalty 5 burpees, if applicable. Round 2 was done a few times.

Round 3:
Two cones, 10 reps per cone. Penalty burpees still at 5.

Round 4:
Two Cones, 10 reps per cone. Penalty burpees increased to 10. This round was done twice.

Round 5:
Three cones, 10 reps per cone. Penalty burpees still 10.

Round 6:
Three cones, TWO golf balls. 10 reps per cone, Penalty burpees 5.

Round 7:
Two cones, 20 reps per cone. Two golf balls, 5 burpees each.

(This is a rough estimate of what we did. In reality, YHC was a bit anoxic at the end and so it is possible there are some inconsistencies when compared with reality)
