North Carolina weather continues to be unpredictable as 4 Pax showed up 4 a ruckus 4 miles at 04:30 in the sub-freezing temperatures. A large Weston Downs contingent also strolled in with rucks in tow.
In all, 13 PAX would brave the elements for YHC”s first solo Q.
Warm-Up:
Jog to the cartoon eagle at the front of school and…
SSH x 25 IC
Windmill x 10 IC
Willie Mays Hayes x 10 IC
Merkins x 15 IC
The Thang:
The PAX made their way over to the wall for the first set of PT. 25 step ups on each leg followed by 30 dips. 20 box jumps followed by 30 dips. 20 90 degree rotating box jumps followed by 30 dips.
YHC then lead the PAX to the playground for a Pyramid workout. The Pyramid consisted of pull-ups, merkins, and WWII”s done at a 1:2:3 ratio respectively. Leave it to the math teacher to have the PAX perform equivalent ratio work in 26 degree weather. The pyramid, with the pull-ups as the base, went up to 10 and back.
Upon completion Alfalfa asked YHC for a breakdown of reps. Now I know most of you have already done the math because we”ve all done a merkin pyramid, which totals 100. So, it was to YHC”s delight when Alfalfa got a chorus of condescending 100:200:300. Come on man.
YHC ran out of time for Mary, but hopefully 300 WWII”s will help sculpt those washboard abs. Reflecting on the Q, LBC could replace WWIIs to reduce the time between sets of pull-ups and merkins.
