No matter how thoroughly you plan your Q, it”s hard to prepare for the morning fog that is your brain. This morning”s example for YHC/QIC: it”s cold, it”s early, it”s dark, you just did 100 merkins and 16 runs, and as you introduce the Usain Bolt-BLIMPS combo you go completely blank on the P in BLIMPS. You not only forget what exercise you had planned, you can”t think of a single F3 exercise that begins with ”P,” despite debating the prior evening from among many ”P” exercises. Preoccupied? Prostrated? Procumbent? Purblind? Pain(ed)? Those were all appropriate. Thankfully members of this morning”s PAX came to YHC”s rescue with several suggestions. Now, with a cleared and restful mind, here”s the rundown from this fine morning, as best as YHC can recall …

Arm Circles & Reverse
Imperial Walker

Four Corners Merkin Pyramid on soccer field: Climb the pyramid at each corner of the soccer field, doing jogs on the short corners and sprints at the long corners – including backwards sprints on the way back down the pyramid.
Usain Bolt BLIMPS on the back field: Pair up, and one group at a time sprint to the pull up bars for sets of 10, while those remaining work through BLIMPS twice: that”s Burpees, Lunges, Imperial Walkers, Merkins, Peter Parkers, Squats.

This completes the seventh month of The Thicket. Proud of how well this site is developing. These last seven months have reinforced to this site co-QIC how big a role camaraderie is in the F3 experience and how far it extends beyond the gloom.
Coming soon to The Thicket: April is guest Q month
Also coming soon to The Thicket: an AO logo
