YHC woke up with a little extra bounce in his step this morning, from knowing he had the Q at The Thicket, and especially from knowing that it was the first day of school. What better way to celebrate than to have fun with bricks and welcome an FNG?! All of the Pax were waiting at the AO for YHC, who inexcusably arrived late from EC, so there was a quick disclaimer, some rapid-fire SSH and arm circles, and then it was time to get going.

Go get a pair of bricks – one in each hand, and prepare to carry them for the duration of the following escalator. The course was a jog around BC (with bricks held in curled position), stopping for each next series …

As the kids embark on another school year, remember to be appreciated of the teachers, bus drivers, administrations, etc. that dedicate their days to our kids. They’ve got their hands full, which requires endless patience, which makes them more than deserving of our patience.
Welcome FNG Schmear! He said he’s from Brooklyn, and likes to do everything, which a hungry Pax associated with the everything bagel, then cream cheese, then schmear. And the naming was complete. Way to fight through that first post, Schmear!
Happy 70th, Nitro!
