The THANG:
Once at the pickleball courts i explained we would run a ½ mile lap at 100% effort and to remember your time.
After the first lap we wrote down our times, each time on its own sheet of paper.
I shuffled the times, called on a volunteer, and selected 1 time.
The catch: if 3 people didnt finish the next lap within that time we would do 10 hill climbs (shortened to 5 almost immediately), if we succeeded we would get 2 minutes of rest.
Wash, rinse, repeat

The Message:
I negotiate at work everyday, I often remind myself to remember my objective and my “walk away point”. Treat life no differently. Know what you want, don’t be afraid to ask for it and be comfortable walking away if its not looking like its gonna happen.
