23 Pax walked up to the Wall to hear Europe’s “Final Countdown” greeting them. A runaway slack
thread inspired YHC to come prepared with some of the 80’s best Hair band hits. I wanted to transport
the Pax back to a simpler time, a time when Russia was our greatest threat, a High ranking former
general was involved in a political scandal with a foreign adversary, the Stock market was booming and

Matt Lauer wasn’t on TV. Much different times.

As it was my VQ for a boot camp style session, the 80’S jam sesh played on my cars stereo with the
windows open was the perfect way to get most of the PAX pumped.

The Thang:
Immediately following pregame, we stayed in the circle and like the main antagonist in most 80’s teen
flicks, we did a High school football warmup. If only we were wearing letterman jackets.
Hot Feet- Pax immediately chop their feet while staying in the athletic position. On “Down” Pax does a
Merkin then returns to hot feet X 10 Merkins.

We moseyed around the courts on a brisk lap until stopped facing not only the hill directly in front of
them, but another hill, tucked neatly behind the Parking Lots. We then sprinted up the first hill and
stopped in front of the second.

WW2 X 10

We partnered up for an aggressive Dora. The goal was to complete 200 Merkins, 200 Mountain Climbers
and 200 standing Lunges. While doing this, the other partner sprinted up the hill and could choose to
complete 5 Burpees, 20 Merkins or 30 Air squats before switching.
Mosey to basically a far enough light post that served its purpose for the next part.
We were probably .3 maybe .4 miles away from the wall at this point, give or take. Unfortunately, we
were in the same air plane crash as Def leppard and lost the use of our lower legs. The only way we
could get back was Buddy Carry, BearCrawl or wheelbarrow, each partner had to do each exercise at
least once.

Once we made it back to the wall, the group was split up into both sides of the court. On the go, each
Pax made a trip to the wall and back to the baseline for a total of 4 up and back trips. At this point I
realized my reach had exceeded my grasp and I was toast.

Kosher is collecting coats and Jackets for Families in need. Collecting until the 12 th .

Great time today and appreciate any and all the help I got today. Keep in mind that a ton of new families
are moving into the neighborhood and be proactive in reaching out. F3 is definitely a part of it, but also
encourages our community to be a better, more welcoming place. Also, nothing better than finding out
there’s another UCONN fan in the neighborhood (looking at you Woodcock).
