On this fifth day of Birthday Hell Week, YHC was exhausted. With grand plans of joining Assisi, Floyd, and whomever decided to join our KettleBell fest, I went to bed “early” so I could participate. That didn”t work out. 3 pax showed up – one couldn”t stay for the main event, one had to take a dump (Shake It.. you should really see someone about your bowel regimen), and only one nameless soul, one gleaming example of everything good about F3 (yes Floyd, I”m talking about you) completed both EC and ME.
By 0530, the Q (YHC) still hadn”t arrived. Floyd, being the natural born leader he is, took over and warmed up the group with the standard F3 exercises, some merkins and squats, and a lap around the parking lot. Right at about that time, I woke up, let out a few choice words, and drove over to the Falcon. I arrived in time to get the main event started.
Reverse Dora – rather than focusing on the exercises between the run, the laps were the main event. Break into pairs. The goal was 50 laps around the parking lot (I”d estimate 150-200m). When your partner was running, you were alternating between 10 air squats and 10 merkins. The group grinded through 30 laps before the deafening mumblechatter and waning minutes caused a premature cessation.
Over to the wall for balls to the wall alternating with the people”s chair and a few rinse and repeats down the line
Mary – more bushwood and riggs flutterkicks – this really seemed to irk Shake It…
