The following is a true story based on actual events, names have been changed to protect those involved.
YHC has been out of the game for about a year or so, actually it was only 11 days, but it felt like a year. You don”t realize how much you miss the men until your M goes on a vacation and you”re forced to fartsack for what feels like an eternity. It”s always great to be back with the men and it”s always an honor never taken for granted to be able to lead them.
3 men posted for the EC ruck and were met by 18 men in the parking lot ready to work. Mr. Belding screeched in just before the bell to make it a solid 22 PAX. The challenge of a 100 Churham-wide PAX was put forth the night before and The Wall certainly did their part in meeting that goal. I can”t think of a better group of men to call this morning”s PAX than these men. Let”s get to work…

Jog over to the road leading out to the new construction
form 2 lines for some Indian style traveling
1) Bear Crawl to the top of the hill
2) Lunge walk to the top of the next hill
Jog down to the bottom of the hill heading out of town to the dark end of BC.
There are 10 man holes spanning 1/2 mile, we would use these as markers to complete burpees.
The PAX was informed that we were going to bear crawl and/or lunge walk to each man hole and then we would complete 5 burpees, rinse and repeat all the way down the road.

The mumblechatter was great this morning, lots of laughing, high and low brow discussions and plenty of constructive moaning. During the journey down the road the chatter around YHC weaved it”s way around from the NBA finals to Magnum PI and finally to cruising the new Encore section to impress the ladies in a Studebaker. It”s those types of moments you miss the most when you”re not out there.
As we reached the end of the road time was running out, so we high tailed it back to the AO.
The concern over not making it back in time was reaching a feverish pitch so YHC decided that the men deserved a good long Duplo special, ”The Hammie”, when we reached home and Duplo dealt out the greatest Hammie ever and we were done.
