It had been about 9 months since YHC had visited the men of HoP. It’s always great to see old friends, and see some new faces. 11 PAX wanted a piece of an EC run. 22 in all would circle up in the gloom. YHC’s inspiration for the Q was his M calling him out for not having as big as muscles as he did when we first started dating. Ouch!!

The Thang:
YHC had the PAX grab steel from the pile and line up across the bottom of the parking lot. The plan was to run a series of suicides. We would do reps with the steel every time we were at the bottom of the parking lot, and do an increasing number of an assigned body weight exercise at each of the four islands.
- Suicide 1: 10 bicep curls w/ 4, 8, 12, and 16 merkins
- Suicide 2: 15 shoulder press w/ 4, 8, 12, and 16 Bobby Hurley’s
- Suicide 3: 20 bent over rows w/ 2, 4, 6, and 8 burpees
- Suicide 4: 10 tricep extensions w/ 4, 8, 12, and 16 merkins
Arms felt nice and swole, so it was time to blow out the legs. YHC had the men find a partner of similar weight. One PAX buddy carried his partner to the third island, and then they jogged back to the bottom. Flapjack. Each PAX went twice.
Time to drop off the steel.
