In our armed forces there is a training known as Stress Inoculation. Soldiers are worked for an extended period of time. Once fatigued and sleep deprived, they are given the objective. In this state of mind, the leaders have to devise a plan execute it! While no 45 minute session could compare, we attempted similar methodology this morning. PAX needed to think quickly during rigorous exercise.

Stress Inoculation
Q called and counted something then, without warning, called on a PAX who had to called and count and exercise of his choosing.
If he delayed too long, 5 penalty burpees. If he called an exercise that had already been called, more penalty burpees. Penalty burpees increased by 5 each time. We got up to 20 penalty burpees. I can’t remember all the exercises the PAX called, but none were repeated!
