6 Pax showed up on a cold and rainy Monday morning just after the Daylight Savings time change, which meant that at least one of us was even sleepier than usual. The Q really dislikes cold rain, especially when it comes to F3 exercises, which often require laying on the ground. Therefore, he developed a plan to work out under the entrance canopy.
Credit for the work-out concept goes to one of my favorite fitness websites, where you find a video showing how to do the work-out at home – https://www.fitnessblender.com/videos/insane-cardio-workout-challenge-climbing-the-mountain-ladder-workout-hardest-workout-yet. It consisted of 8 exercises done for increasing intervals of time, always with 15 seconds of rest after each exercise. Following a warm-up and review of each exercise, we began with a round of all eight exercises done for 20 seconds each, followed by a 30 second, 40 second, and 50 second round. That final round was really tough to keep exercising for the full time interval! The exercises were:
– Single Leg Burpee (L)
– Single Leg Burpee (R)
– Side Lunge Pops (L)
– Side Lung Pops (R)
– Mt Climber Get Up
– Squat Jacks
– Push Up Jacks
– High Knees
We had enough time left over to conclude the work-out with a few exercises to target our core and back, including LBCs, swimmers, and reverse snow angels.
