YHC brought the bells and Floyd led 4 through EC consisting of your choice of 5, 10, and 20 of burpees, pull-ups, and KB swings. You could match any exercise with any number. The rub was you had to stick with your choices of exercises from 5,10, 20 back down to 5. Most got in 4-5 rotations. Beeker showed up towards the end and got in some swings, too. Sweetpea stayed in the truck for most of the time, just until the very end, but Binksy received plenty of attention from the crew.
For the ME, 9 PAX warmed up with some fast SSH and a battery of other warm up staples, and then PAX were met with a barrage of rectangular terror. This was a consistently tough workout beginning-to-end and, combined with EC, left your legs feeling like jelly. Cardiac flew around the corners like the maniac that he is, and Floyd mumblechattered quite a bit. So you could say it was business as usual on Tobacco Road. Here are the rectangles, for your BB viewing pleasure:
- Sprint four corners of the entire soccer field, stopping at each corner for 25 merkins (100 total). Plank until all finished.
- Squat walk the goal box, SSH until all finished.
- Sprint four corners of the soccer field, stopping at each corner for 50 squats (200 total). Plank until all finished.
- Bear crawl around the penalty box. SSH until finished
- Sprint four corners of the soccer field, stopping at each corner for 20 burpees (80 total). Plank until all finished.
- Bunny hop around half of the soccer field.
Mary:
- 50 flutter kicks
- 30 Apple pickers
- 2 minutes of 6 inch hold, legs together and legs apart.
