12 PAX met at Bean Traders for a group run through the trails of the Woodlake Community. The group took off across Hwy 54, through the Bull City Running shopping center, and onto the ~ 1 mile section of the ATT that parallels Fayetteville Street. At the Rite Aid on Fayetteville Street, we made a hard right into the Woodlake Community and hopped on the running trail right by the playground. We did a complete loop of the trail through the community, ending up back at the actual Woodlake Lake/Pond (not really big enough to be considered a lake). From there, we doubled back ~1 mile down the ATT. Upon returning to Bean Trader’s we had ~ 8-10 minutes left of the hour, so half the PAX kept running down the ATT. Those who kept running stopped at the crest of the bridge overpassing I-40 and returned to meet the rest of the PAX at Bean Trader’s.
Overall, great route AND great fellowship as always. Total distance for the morning was ~ 6.2 miles!
Cheers!
