On Saturday F3Churham held a special workout at TBL and hosted the SEALs who were representing the SOS, Special Ops Survivors. What caught YHCs attention the most from the SEALs portion of the work out was the emphasis on team work. The SEALs had us estimate a time that the whole group could run from the mid field line to the top of the park entrance and back. At surface level, you focus on the time and getting back to midfield on or before that time expires. However, if you focus on the time you miss the point of staying together as a team, because the time was going to be impossible to meet, which really wasn”t the point at all. So being inspired by this idea of staying together and working together along with the F3 philosophy of ”sweeping the six” the theme of the workout would be teamwork and getting as many men involved as possible. Moving forward and sharpening each other as we advanced. As Stickman would later put it, ”linking arms”. And, there would be gorilla hops through the misty field.
4 men posted early for the EC ruck and were treated to an amazing sunrise. 12 men were waiting in the parking lot ready to work. Let”s move forward, or hop forward…

The point of this exercise was to have as many PAX members as possible calling out the exercises and keeping everyone together moving forward.
Marky Mark started us off with a IC x10 bear crawl and calling on a PAX member to count off 5 merkins
The next PAX member would call on someone else to count the BC and then merkins, and so on.
By the end every man had called out a count at some point.
