Jinx introduced me to a nice route around the neighborhood that follows a series of Strava segments. He refers to it as the “Let the Segment Be Your Guide” route, which – as with most good things – must be transformed into an acronym. So today we did the LTSBYG route at the Rabbit.

Warm-up

  • SSH x 15 IC
  • WMH x 10 IC
  • Runners Stretch L/R hold for 10 seconds
  • Calf Stretch
  • PAX Choice

Main Event

We hit 6 Strava segments today. The original LTSBYG has about 8 and covers over 6 miles. Next time!

Great to see Mumbles out there today after a long hiatus. It reminded me that it’s important for all of us to reach out on occasion to PAX we haven’t seen in the gloom in awhile. Sometimes the PAX on break need a little encouragement and/or reminder that there are others out there thinking about them and that they were a part of something that brought some benefit to their life. I encouraged the PAX to identify someone who they haven’t seen in awhile and reach out to them on Slack or email to see how they’re doing. Until next time. Aye.
