Twenty-two PAX gathered outside Kenan Stadium at 0545 on a pristine Monday morning. After a warmup of SSH x 20, Willie Mays Hays x 10, Windmills x 10, Arm Circles x 10 forward and backward, Irkins x 5 and Derkins x 10, we took to the northeast corner of the stadium to snake the steps.
Down one aisle, up the next, down the next, up the next and so along the visitor”s side of the bowl. After completing one side, we circled up on the concourse for circuits of 10 cadence count merkins of four flavors (standard, diamond grip, wide grip, four-count) alternating with 30-second bows-to-toes planks.
Then we ran the steps back to the opposite side of the stadium and circled up on the concourse for four sets of Carolina Dry Docks x 10 alternating with side planks L&R for 30 seconds each.
From there it was a quick jog to the east concourse outside the Blue Zone, where we spread out among the wooden benches for four sets of cadence count dips x 10 and alternating L&R step-ups x 10.
We began making our way back to the north gate with a Bear Crawl about 75 yards and then circled up for Mary: LBC x 20, Flutter Kicks x 20, Freddie Mercury x 20, Ski Abs x 20 and Supermans x 20.
