Chapel Hill and the UNC campus were jolted from their summertime slumbers with the onslaught over the weekend of thousands of returning and freshman students. YHC thought it appropriate to revisit the immortalized Campus Tour, a mainstay in the workout inventory of the old Fetzer and now Kenan AOs. There are likely a handful of groggy neophytes trying to sleep in Old East and Old West who wondered what hell all that cadence counting was around the Old Well at 6 a.m.

The Thang:

Warmup: SSH x 20, Windmills x 10, Prisoner Squats x 10, Arm Circles x 10 front and back, CCD x 10.

Jog to The Bell Tower for three sets of Decline CDD x 12 off first step and three sets of lunges R&L x 12 with back leg on second step.

Mosey to Polk Place and split up in front Wilson Library, half the group set up for Derkins off the first step and the other half for dips on the stone wall x 12. Switch and repeat, three circuits total. One set of step-ups on wall x 12 L & R.

Bear crawl one quarter of way up grassy expanse, hold plank. Walking lunge to halfway, hold plank. More bear crawl to three-quarters of the way, hold plank. Then walking lunge to South Building.

Circle up on plaza in front of South Building for 15 Burpees followed by 30 second Low-Plank Hold; then 10 Double-Merkin Burpees and 30 more seconds planks.

Mosey to other side of South Building and circle up around Old Well. Alternate Diamond Merkins x 12, LBC x 20, Wide Grip Merkins x 12, Long Slow Flutters x 20, Three Stop Merkins x 12, Freddie Mercury x 20, CDD x 12, Heels to Heaven x 20.

Mosey back to Polk Place, pause in front of Wilson Library for set of step-ups on wall x 12 left and right, jog on back to Kenan.
