Fellowship Lap to the car rider numbers.

Here we (and by we, I mean me) learned some historical dates for labor day using the car rider numbers for our single counts.  Each year’s digit was used for Burpees, Merkins, Squats and WWII respectively, bear crawl and crawl bear between the numbers always facing towards the parking lot.

Labor Day was first celebrated in 1882

International Workers Day which occurs on May 1 also has History with Labor Day, although the US has seperated itself from this.

Labor Unions in the US declared that on May 1, 1886 the work day would be 8 hours – 1884
