This is one of those days where the site Qs were Vulcan-mind-melded. On the same wavelength. Those waves were Square waves.

Warm up

  • 20 SSH IC
  • 10 WMH IC
  • 5 burpees, OYO
  • 20 arm circles, big and small
  • 10 slow squats IC
  • 10 slow merkins

PAX hopped over lines during the song and sax solos, then switched to ski abs and dry docks during the chorus. It was a good way to get the heart rate up for the ME.

The Thang AKA Times Square AKA Blocks Squared

Mosey to blocks, then carry blocks to ball court
The goal is to move block around the square (half of basketball court).
Starting from any corner:
  • Traveling burpee (without block) to next corner
  • Crawl bear back
  • Murder bunny (with block) to same corner
  • 10 simba raises
  • 10 curls
  • 10 blockees
  • 10 swings or rows
Then repeat to the next corner, but do 20 exercises, then 30, then 40.
YHC had to do some serious modifications, pause for 10 counts, then called it after YHC finished 30.
