Hamstring Dreams

The Brick regime began on a cold March morning, when YHC thought it might be time for a board of pain light, or baby board of pain, if you will. Without sound capabilities, however, nor any actual board, it felt to YHC that such a program would be cheap, meaningless, tawdry, empty, and perhaps even wrong. Most importantly, Buffay needed some energizing during elections, not a royal beatdown. YHC had a dream of stretching and an actual cool down, but, as always, time always wins.

WARM UP: 20 SSH, 20 MC, 20 Michael Phelps, 20 LB Arm C’s, 10 port-a-johns, 10 slow Merkins

THE THANG: Moseyed over to Cates Creek, where the rings awaited us for some levers. 5 per turn, while PAX performed endless calf raises (out, regular, in) after one round, changed to endless lunges and completed levers.

Traveled to soccer field with exercises at corners: 20 Merkins, 20 Elbow to Knees, 20 dry docks, 30 gas pumps.

Paired off and performed, in pairs, 80 burpees, 90 merkins, 100 jump squats in teams. The timekeeper was the partner running width of soccer field.

In honor of team Argentina, Alphabet was performed in Spanish, and after a brief language hiccup, these worldly PAX successfully completed the Mary round adding ch, ll, ñ, and rr. That’s a 27 percent increase in difficulty for Muzungu and the rest of you statisticians out there.

Ended with an attempt at a hamstring stretch, but without wall space, ended up taking a rest before moseying back over for
