It was the definition of gloom: 46 degrees and steady rain. Nonetheless, 13 PAX brought light to the darkness at ReCity, inspiring one another to get stronger in mind and body no matter the weather or whatever else might be happening in their lives. To each of you that wakes up on these gloomy mornings to make yourself better: well done!

Sometimes I respond with “you’re welcome” when a PAX says “that was terrible” or expresses a similar sentiment during or after a particularly tough Q. Reflecting on it a bit this morning, I realized it could come across as a bit arrogant, which is unintended. The real feeling that I experience every time I get in my car and drive home is immense appreciation for every PAX that gets up, gives it their all, and trusts YHC and others to lead a Q. It’s always humbling and an immense honor to be out there – and for that I say not “you’re welcome”…but “thank you.”
