Late Sunday night YHC received a txt message from a PAX member informing him that said man may have over indulged in spirits Saturday night and was wondering if we could just do some light yoga as his mind and body were regretting that decision. Being a holiday weekend and times being as turbulent as they are YHC didn”t know if the man on the other end of the txt was celebrating Presidents day or trying to forget Presidents day. Either way, YHC didn”t have plans for yoga, but he did have plans to make the PAX dizzy as we would weave throughout Briar Chapel. Twelve eager men showed up at the AO and we got to work. What happens next really happened and you can”t argue with facts…

”No pain, no gain”. My mom had poster on the pantry door with Garfield on a rowing machine and wearing a headband and the caption was ”no pain no gain”. My brother and I always laughed at how goofy it was in all of it”s 80”s glory. Over the years I learned that you don”t gain without pain, physically, spiritually, emotionally and personally. She had all kinds of sayings like this around our house and it took years before I got it. She is smart and she knew that one day it would kick in. The older I get the smarter my mom gets, it”s amazing how that happens. No pain no gain.
Go out today and be the best husband, father, co-worker, neighbor, uncle, or whatever you are in your community. Till we meet again in the gloom, Aye!
