“I came into this game for the action, the excitement. Go anywhere, travel light, get in, get out, wherever there’s trouble, a man alone…” – Harry Tuttle, Heating Engineer. — (Brazil, Terry Gilliam 1985)

14 PAX leaped out of their rooster nests this morning to converge at the Center of PBO: The Shiniest and Newest AO in Chatham County: The Earl. Welcome to one and all. Carpex folks crossed the Lake, perhaps even swimming. Who knows? Everyone looked cold as hell upon arrival.

YHC and Soylent arrived on site with a brand new shovelflag and a plan.

2 stalwart ruckers carried various weird things around, looking for a door to somewhere. YHC heard they found it.

Knock Knock.

Warm Up

SSH x 20
Arm Circles x 10 each way
WMH 15 or so

Main Event
Mosey

Circle Dora

Superfluous counting by twos. YHC hates counting, so we did a bit extra just for fun.

Partner up. Partner 1 runs the circle while Partner 2 begins exercises. Work together to cumulatively achieve the count. We are stronger together than by ourselves.

100 Merkins
200 LBC
300 Sumo Squat Jumps

Mosey to the Brutalist Walls (Short walls south of the Circle.)
Partners alternate. 2 sets each:

20 Dips
20 Merkins

Mosey through the building. To a Glorious Brick Walk. The bright lights almost warmed up YHC, but no. It was just Cold. Mosey to the south end of the walk.

What is a morning without Bear Crawling? BC back to the building. Sometimes you end up where you started.

Mosey back around the Circle to the northwest corner. Here, begin Travelling Burpees till we reached the corner in front of The Woodwright’s Shop. No one got any splinters that YHC is aware of, but there were various burpees, squat lunges and derkins in the area. Who knows what you’re going to find in the big city?

Mosey back to Page Vernon.

Mary
Flutter Kicks x 20
Freddie Mercury x20
Boat Canoe – just the right amount. Carpex shared a nicely watertight boat position of this. Must have come across the lake in Boat Canoes…

COT
Thanks one and all for coming out. Extra nice to see a bunch of Carpex representation, and meet YHC’s personal new favorite F3 moniker: Pet Sounds. YHC was going to say something about centers, and circles but didn’t quite get to that. It’s really hard to see yourself. We’re always looking out. It’s hard to see the center of the circle if it’s yourself. You can look at yourself in the mirror, but you’re never really seeing who you are, just what you look like. In reverse. This F3 thing has helped me start to realize that it’s a ton better to be happy and kind and helpful than the reverse. Thanks one and all for rocking it today. Have a good day, and be strong. In the words of Harry Tuttle, Heating Engineer, “Listen kid, we’re all in this together.”
