YHC hasn’t Q’ed Vortex in a while. Such a great AO. The plan today was to never leave the field so that no time was wasted on transitions. Stay local and work the field as efficiently as possible. 16 PAX showed up on a perfect morning. Better weather is on the way and that is exciting
Warmup:
SSH, Hillbillies, Arm Claps, Mtn Climbers, Slow Merkins
The Thang:
Similar to loading the Ark, we would use different means of travel to move. PAX lined up on the field and we went back and forth across half of the field continuously with the occasional shout out to change the method of travel. Bear Crawl – Lunge Walk – Run – Gorilla Hops – Travelling Burpees – Crawl Bear – Run
Next, a 4 Corners Escalator: Using the full field, run to the first corner and do 10 burpees. Run to 2nd corner and do 10 burpees and 20 Russian Hammers. Next corner, add 30 squats. Last corner, add 40 mtn climbers.
Not enough time to reverse the corners and do all the exercises so we just did one exercise in each corner as we reversed the direction: 30 squats, then 20 Russian Hammers, then 10 burpees

Balls to the wall competition. YHC fully expected to be the last man standing but the arms started shaking uncontrollably and Newt outlasted me for the win.
