YHC among the PAX – along with Scapula, Bellhop, Uzi, Malware and Green Acres – headed to Greenville SC on Friday for the HTL. Good vibes appreciated for all of us. With the big day looming, put it out in the pre-blast that this would not be a smokeshow but would still be work. YHC was as good as his word.
Lifted the basics of this routine from Dean Wormer, who put us through it at TBR during the Beta BroRuck. After a brief warm-up, moseyed to blacktop for a modified BLIMPS sesh:
B – starting at first corner, mode of travel mosey unless otherwise specified – 5 bodybuilders (eight-count), 5 burpees oyo, 5 bodybuilders, 5 burpees oyo, bear crawled home
L – 10 Lunges IC, backwards run, 10 leg lifts, backwards run, 10 lunges IC, backwards run, 10 leg lifts, lunge walk home
I – 15 Imperial Walker IC, 15 Inchworms (with added merkin at WeedNFeed’s insistence), 15 Imperial Walker IC, 15 Inchworms
M – 20 Merkins SC, 20 mountain climbers IC, 20 merkins SC, 20 mountain climbers IC
P – 25 Peter Parker IC, 25 Parker Peter IC, Plank ROF with 5 merkins plus extra plank hold X 2, bearcrawl (spider crawl?) home at Cardiac’s insistence
S – 30 Squats SC, 30 Slow Squats IC, 30 Squats SC, 30 Slow Squats IC – duck walk home
