YHC was pleased to make the trip to Q South-Durham’s-friendliest-Tuesday AO at the invitation of Count Chocula. As he had taken the Q at Eagle yesterday, which involved a decent amount of running, YHC endeavored to change it up with a minimal-to-no running Q. 21 Intrepid PAX gathered in the gloom, and we got started

Warm-up

  • SSH x20
  • Hillbilly x12
  • WMH x12
  • LBAC/Reverse x12 each
  • Slow Merkin x10
  • Slow BWS x10
  • Demonstration and 5 reps each of Swipers and Levitation Crunches (These came out of Athlean-X’s YouTube video ranking Ab exercises from worst to best. Worth a watch if you have the time).

 

Thang

Mosey over to the cinderblock pile… whoops, no cinder blocks! Fortunately, Pallino had a lead on where they may have been moved to, and was able to locate the entire pile nearby. Not quite enough blocks for every PAX, but it was easy enough to share. The workout plan was very simple – do one exercise Every Minute on the Minute, for 30 minutes. 3 Rounds of the following:

  1.     10 Burpees
  2.     25 Merkins
  3.     25 BW Squats
  4.     25 Curls
  5.     25 Levitation Crunches
  6.     10 Burpees
  7.     25 Overhead Press
  8.     25 Jump Lunges, the easy way (count each leg as 1)
  9.     25 Bent Over Rows
  10.     25 Swipers

 

We used Big Booty Mix Vol. 18 as our soundtrack to keep us motivated.

We put back the blocks and headed back to Startex right at 6:15. No time for Mary.

Prayers today for Cosmo’s Grandma and Boucher’s friend Ken, who both passed away. Prayers also for Crash Cart’s family members undergoing surgery today, and Uzi recovering from surgery.
