Egg Nog Merlot

Introduction:

This was my second Q and I purposefully chose the day after Christmas to commit myself to going. It was early, it was cold, it was a hard choice.
The quote/them: “Easy choices hard life, hard choices easy life”

Warm-O-Rama:

25 side straddle hops
Quad stretch
Willy mays hays
1mile jog to the wall
Cross leg hamstring stretch

The THANG:

we each we given a battery powered tea light and ran to the wall together. Once there the workout plan was revealed. Round 1: We were to run max effort around the ½ mile loop as many times as possible in 8 minutes. At 8 minutes drop the candle and mosey back to the start. Round 2: run around again for 8 minutes. If you reached your candle you give the group 1 minute of rest, if you didn’t you have the group 5 burpees. Round 3: run 1 loop and grab your candles.

Prayer: life is short and it’s wise to plan and put deliberate thought into how you want to live the remainder of this life. It’s easy to forget to be patient, have gratitude, and pursue the opportunities in your life you find valuable. Make the hard choices.

P.S.

Much to the delight of the PAX, no Egg Nog Merlot made an appearance during the workout. It was promised in Slack, but this was one of those promises that was better unkept!
