I promised the PAX a workout they needed but wouldn’t want. But it reality it was YHC who didn’t want the workout. In short, I’ve been mostly running these days in preparation for the City of Oaks Marathon (big mistake) so bootcamps have become akin to a kid who’s being forced to eat his/her vegetables. I know they’re good for me but I really don’t want anything to do with them. However, I was able to sprinkle in some running and got the PAX reminiscing about their most memorable F3 workout, which lessened the suck.  12 Pax were ready to roll at 530.

Warmup

Main Event

Suicides

Run to end of each of three courts. At end of each court, PAX do stated exercise together at 20 count. Once complete, PAX travel back to start via various exercises.

  • Round 1: 20 hand release Merkins, Karaoke back
  • Round 2: 20 WWII, Karaoke back
  • Round 3: 20 Burpees, Lunge Walk back
  • Round 4: 20 Overhead claps, Bear crawl back
  • Round 5: 20 Carolina Dry Dock, Bernie Sanders back
  • Round 6: 20 Mountain Climbers, Bernie Sanders back

Moleskin

In a HT to Zook, I replaced the 10 count with asking PAX about their most memorable F3 workout. There was some great examples shared, many of which involved Frank Lloyd Bunyan, Nanu-Nanu, and plenty of pain and suffering inflicted by many of the PAX throughout the region.
