Eat your vegetables

We have all probably heard this at some point in our lives: eat your vegetables. We also now say it on a regular basis. At some point during today’s workout as the PAX started to moan, YHC just said: “c’mon, it’s like eating your veggies, this is good for you”. YHC did not have a theme for today’s workout but after some *very short* thought it was decided that eating your veggies would be the theme of today’s workout. Thus, 7 hungry PAX arrived at The Earl for a fresh garden of pain to be delivered by yours truly.

The Thang

Bear Crawl – Derkin – Curb Ladder
The PAX moseyed to a narrow street. Standing on one curb facing the other curb, perform one derkin and BC across the street. Without getting up, turn around and perform two derkins. Keep going back and forth, adding a derkin each time until you reach 12.

Suicides – LBCs
Mosey to a parking lot. In pairs. Starting on one end of the parking lot, Partner 1 sprints to the middle of the parking lot – back to the beginning – out toward the other end – and back to the beginning, while Partner 2 performs LBCs. Switch when Partner 1 finishes, picking up the count. The goal is to get to 300 LBCs as a pair.

Bear with me
Starting on one end of the parking lot, BC the length of the parking lot performing one burpee at each parking space. After reaching the other end of the parking lot, mosey back to the beginning. Repeato but perform 2 and 3 burpees the second and third time around.

  4. Nescafé’s sister will be undergoing surgery in the beginning of August. She visited NC this past weekend and is doing well.

BOM:
Today YHC completes 9 Qs in 9 consecutive weeks. YHC called this the ‘Yanni Challenge’ – after Yanni, who seems to go around all AOs delivering pain. It has been a great experience. It’s fun to throw yourself out there and step out of your comfort zone and in the process challenge yourself by challenging others. YHC has met some great F3 brothers and visited some great AOs. YHC encourages everyone to consider Qing at some point. There are many AOs that are doing well, but there are also many others that need your help. Thank you for the opportunity to lead this morning.
