This was YHC’s ‘boot camp VQ’ (YHC Q’d The Goat a few weeks back). 8 of the 22 ME PAX were clearly rattled by a savage Count Chocula EC. Today’s date (6/12) drove the theme of the workout.

The Thang
Six trips up the grass ramp. Mode of travel: run on reps 1,3,5; Bernie Sanders run on reps 2,4,6. At the top of each ramp rep: ascending ladder of Big Kat merkins (2,4,6,8,10,12). Low squat hold till all PAX finish.
Group 1: bunnyhop across the infield in front of the scoreboard, then Cardiac to lead Group 1 in seal jacks. Group 2: Wawa to lead PAX in 20 cadence-count seal jacks, then bunnyhop to Group 2.
Group 2: snake run through North side of soccer stadium, then Tricurious to lead group in cadence-count mountain climbers. Group 1: Big Kat to lead group in 20 cadence-count mountain climbers, then snake run to catch Group 2. Pick up the six or hold high plank till groups are together. Mosey to brick ramp between Bowman-Gray Pool and Fetzer Gym.
Grab some bar …. 10 sets of 6 Australian push-ups, 6 merkins, 6 reverse crunches. Different PAX to lead each set. Uzi suggests PAX go inverted balls-to-balls instead of reverse crunches. YHC considers request unnecessary and dangerous. Request denied. Mosey to AO, form a circle at midfield.
A shameless rip-off of Dean Wormer’s shameless rip-off of Yanni’s Westend workout (IIRC), PAX are instructed that the next block will be 10 burpees EMOM for 12 minutes, but two of the minutes can be used for rest minutes (the goal is 100 burpees). Burpees to be done OYO. At the beginning of minute 12, Catskill recommended that PAX do the last 10 together. Excellent veteran Q call! Request approved.
Loveseat: 10-count, PLEASE! Recovery walk to rock wall on west end of AO with overhead clap.
Form up on the blue line. Run the length of the field to the other blue line: firm effort to midfield, then accelerate to maximum velocity and effort to the blue line on the far side. Peaux Boy and Arm Bar are spotted at the AO doing a track workout. Maraschino continues to refer to Arm Bar as Rear Naked Choke.
