YHC’s Customer Satisfaction Program

Warmup:

SSH (30)

Imperial Walkers (10)

Willie Mays Hayes (10)

Windmills (10)

Mosey to Hooker Fields:

30 squats, run across the field and back,

30 WWIIs, 30 squats, run across the field and back,

20 merkins, 30 WWIIs, 30 squats, run across the field and back,

10 burpees, 20 merkins, 30 WWIIs, 30 squats, run across the field and back

Fellowship lap around the field. Some PAX noticed an enticing set of tires, and given YHC’s Customer Satisfaction Focus, some impromptu dips were had (2 sets of 20).

Finished fellowship lap back to the start. Bows-to-toes plank. Then right arm high, back to regular bows-to-toes, then left arm high, back to regular bows-to-toes.

Back to the line:

SSH (20) then PAX bear crawled to second white line and bear crawled back. First PAX back got to call out the next exercise (wide grip merkins, 20). Repeat bear crawl, last PAX back got to call out next exercise (20 LBCs).

Fellowship run back to the tires for YHC’s kryptonite: derkins (a set of 5, then a set of 8, all YHC had in him for derkins).

Back to the AO for Mary:

Flutter kicks (20)

Then around the circle:

LBCs (20)

Heels to Heaven (20)

Dead cockroach (20) (YHC had never done this one before: an LBC where you reach your hand to the opposite foot when you crunch)

COT Announcements and Prayer requests:

YHC’s family friends: father and son have a rough relationship, son is out of the house right now, prayers for reconciliation and healing in their relationship

Popeye’s friends: for a successful and smooth adoption of their foster children

Appomattox’s wife and soon-to-be-born second child: for a smooth delivery and a healthy baby

YHC closed with a prayer (the Ignatian prayer for generosity, adapted for the group context) that has meant a lot me, and I hope it has some resonance amongst the men of our F3 community:

Lord, teach us to be generous

Teach us to serve as you deserve

To give and not to count the cost

To fight and not to heed the wounds

To toil and not to seek for rest

To labor and not to ask for reward

Save that of knowing that we do Your will.
