25 PAX posted in the crisp gloom on the 4th official day of spring…in very NON spring-like temperatures.
During the prior evening”s fruitful fellowship at Churham”s 2ndF event… DOI”s creative juices were flowing. He suggested an extended shoulder session during warmup, and YHC gladly obliged.

The Thang
Count off by twos. Voila! And now we have 2 teams. Each team was awarded (?) their pair of 30lbs coupons – aka plastic jugs filled with sand. A team leader from T1 & T2 took the jugs and began running towards the central SoVi green. Every time the jugs transitioned to a new PAX, the team dropped for 5 merkins. Upon arrival to the first stop sign, further instructions were given.
There are 6 streets that splinter off of the main SoVi circle. From the main circle, one PAX carries the coupons down to the stop sign. 10 merkins OYO. Another PAX assumes control of the coupons and sprints back up the hill to the start point with his team in-tow. 10 burpees OYO. Switch the PAX carrying the coupons and repeato (x6) around the entire SoVi horseshoe.
Returning the launch point the PAX raced back and traded coupons, adding 5 merkins for the team each time the coupons changed hands.
Upon arrival to the parking lot, the clock indicated 0620. 15 burpees OYO to bring our daily total to a clean 100. Now at 0625… we should now be moving into Mary, but YHC thought to himself.. a merkin pyramid sounds so much better (and yet, worse). So a merkin pyramid we did.
COT
Tclaps to all those who posted last night at Yester Years in support of both deepening our fellowship and supporting their efforts to recover from challenging times. YY is a great spot that should be kept in the Churham 2ndF rotation.
The Bull is next weekend. It”s going to be awesome. (Te”o – aren”t you proud of me?)
