Gift Time!
So what”s better than 1 present under the tree?!?! 3 presents under the tree of course!! PAX count off by groups of three as 3 presents, I mean stations await them.
1st Station – First PAX starts as the timer for the station doing 10 pull-ups while others awaiting their gifts alternate between Balls to the Wall and Wall Chairs. Once all PAX rotate through the first PAX then switches to 15 Dips while awaiting PAX resume BTTWs and Wall Chairs. Rinse and Repeat as much as time allows.
2nd Station- (The BIG timer) – PAX here have their gifts waiting for them in the form of Sand Buckets needing to be Farmer Carried around the track. Waiting PAX switch between Burpees and LBCs until the first PAX returns home. Cycle through all PAX, once this is done you know it”s time to go to the next station for another Holiday Surprise!
3rd Station – Yet more holiday cheer awaits the unsuspecting PAX as they find 40lb Sand bags gifted to them for 25 Squats while those waiting get to enjoy knee tucks and Merkins. Once we cycle through they are rewarded with 15 sandbag bent rows while continuing to enjoy knee tucks and merkins. Rinse and repeat until Station 2 tells you it”s time to move on.
And it”s not the holidays if you”re not enjoying the company of those around you so to bring us into the “Sharing Spirit” we start what I like to call the “Elf Indian Lunge”. Imagine an Indian run with not so much running, but sandbags and nothing but lunges. Lead PAX has sandbag on shoulders and sets out in a lunge walk with the rest in tow. Last Pax in the line also has sandbag on the shoulders and takes off to the front. Once in the front, he continues the lunge while the PAX behind him drops the bag. The Bag is then picked up by the last PAX once the line has Lunged him past it. He then proceeds to sprint the front to resume the lunge walk. This continues until all have felt the “Holiday Spirit”.
We then mosey to the parking lot to “inch” our way up to the top. We do the inchworm (hands and feet together while standing, walk hands forward until parallel to the ground, merkin, then tiptoe feet back to your hands. repeat).
This brings us to the end of yet another glorious holiday where we circle up to “reflect” on the season. 25 box cutters, 25 FMs, 25 Russian Hammers. After all PAX where tucked away for a long winter (early spring) nap. Happy holidays to all, and to all a good gloom!!
