Master Q Challenge: 7/25

Introduction:   For almost 2 years F3 has been a part of my life.   Getting in better shape, challenging myself, getting involved more in the community, meeting other men who have similar beliefs/goals and many other benefits too numerous to mention.   Up until June of this year, I had only had the Q one time, and it was a Co-Q with a 10-year-old kid.   After listening to a Pod-Cast by one of the Founders of F3 YHC was inspired to the point to start taking on the challenge of being a Q more often.   The Master Q Challenge was the perfect vehicle to help make that possible.   Rameses / Kenan was the first workout YHC attended after getting an EH from Holmes and Soggy.   It was meaningful to YHC to actually Q for the first time at this, the Chapel Hill flagship AO, where 10 Pax Gathered on a rather quiet Monday Morning.

WARMUP:  SSH, IW, WMH, LBAC, MTN Climbers.   IC.

ME: Campus Tour because it’s been along time since YHC was on one, and because my first post was a Campus Tour with Blindside and Shooter in the Bell Tower Parking Deck.

5 Burpees OYO in honor of ITO joining us just a tad bit late.

1st Stop: Mosey to the Bell Tower.   Split up into 2 teams.   One team member performs BTTW while other team members gets 15 Derkins. Switcherroo and Repeato X3.

2nd Stop: Mosey to Wilson Library.  Dips x20, Derkins x15, Monkey Humpers x10 (Only once), BWS x20.  All IC. Repeato X3.

3rd Stop: Mosey to the Old Well for some Ab Work.   Flutter Kicks x30, LBC x20 , Box Cutter x20.  All IC.  Repeato X3.

4th Stop: Mosey to the Pit:  Bear Crawl through the tunnel out of the Pit to Raleigh Road.   It really sucked when I first did it many workouts ago, nothing has changed since then, other than I have tried to “Embrace the Suck”.

Mosey back to Kenan.

MARY: 10 Burpees OYO because the Tarheels Lost by 10 points.   30 Flutter Kicks IC because we can.

COT: Quiet Group this morning.    Glad to hear of no injuries from the Spartan Race.   Keep praying for  DOI and his Family.

Thanks everyone for choosing to come out this morning and “enjoying” the workout with me.   It was an honor.
