6 PAX posted for a mini-Murph EC to get things warmed up for the ME. 2 loops around the full field; 10 sets of 5 pullups/10 merkins/15 BWS; 2 loops (or more) around the full field, and done. By then the rest of the PAX was rolling in – and we were ready.
YHC had a strict schedule to keep for the timing of each movement. Design was for simplicity, but also to keep the PAX moving. Goals were: 5 mins/5 mins/25 mins/5 mins/5mins.
Warm Up
- 5 minutes: SSH (x25 IC), Arm circles (x10 IC fwd; x10 IC rev), BWS (x15 IC)
The Thang
- 5 minutes: burpees.
- 25 minutes: Full-field Jacob”s Ladder with coupons.
- Each PAX positioned themselves in front of a coupon at the goal line.
- 1 WWII; then grab your coupon and run with it to mid-field; 10 reps with coupon.
- Leave coupons at mid-field while running to the far goal line for 14 merkins
- Run back to mid-field for 10 reps w/ coupon; Run back to the start with coupons;
- 2 WWIIs… Repeato until time (25 mins)
- 5 minutes: burpees
- 5 minutes: plank (regular/right-left arm/cobra/pike position rotations).
