The Thang
The “big news” in the general area surrounding Hurricanrana AO was a bear sighting. The workout was VERY loosely bear themed.
- Bear crawl from warmup site to the far end of the parking lot, lunge walk back to warmup site, then crawl bear to the end of the lot again
- After getting in the appropriate bear state of mind the PAX moseyed off site to the bottom of Chubb’s Hill. The PAX climbed back to the top of Chubbs Hill by performing a Jacob’s Ladder (11 reps total of burpees and pulse lunges). Distance from top to bottom was 2 lamp posts and we made our way up the hill by only going back 1 lamp post on alternate trips (extension ladder?).
- Before returning to the AO the PAX performed 5X of what YHC called “Trubiskys” (bear themed and they kinda suck). A single Trubisky rep consists of: walking out on hands from standing position to plank position, one merkin, one arm high side plank, one merkin, one arm high side plank opposite side, walk on hands back to standing position
- The PAX moseyed back to the AO for Mary
