YHC eagerly took the Q last minute after learning a sub was needed.  I was anxious to get back to basic rucking after last week’s Grunge fueled CSAUP that had me in the Briar Chapel Pool fully clothed (for the record, I should’ve know better).

YHC was greeted at the AO by 4 other PAx and 2 FNGs!!  One of the FNGs is a BMT neighbor (Jeff) and the other I knew from BC Bottle share nights (Colin). Big Time!

YHC planned a mini-ruck workout to start the day as follows:

Warm up
  • 10 merkins (w/ ruck)
  • 10 squats (w/ruck)
  • 10 lunges (w/ruck)
  • ….unfortunately we were cut short by a barking Toby (my dog) so we missed out on the thrusters and overhead squats. maybe next time.
Main Event

What a fantastic way to start a weekend.  And what a great surprise to have two FNGs show up!  This is day 1 of what will hopefully become a regular part of your daily lives. The benefits are incredible as you’ll see both physically and emotionally. I encourage the new guys to try different things out, see what they like, and keep coming back for more!  Have great weekends men!
