The Thang:
I came upon the answer today to the age old question: If a tree falls in the woos and nobody is around to hear it does it make a sound? Only if it writes a backblast. To prove this morning happened:
The overnight ruck drew away the regulars. When it became clear I was rolling solo this morning I took a minute to dream up some ruck PT to start off and then followed it up with some miles. Vaguely remembering something I saw on pathfinder, here was the workout:
PT:
10 excercises 10 reps each
- SSH (IC)
- Squat
- Merkins
- Mountain climbers (IC)
- Johnny Drama
- Bear crawl (IC)
- Overhead press
- Curls
- Bent over row
- Leg raise (ruck overhead)
- Ruck a block (there are some long blocks around here)
Rinse and repeat x 10
10 excercises 10 reps 10 rounds = 1000 total reps and 2 miles of rucking in 1 hour
Between dreaming this up and the workout it was 7:15 and I needed my 4 miles post workout for Pathfinder Endure so I started a 45 minute 4 mile time hack. Not long into my ruck a phone call from the M FIA @LadyA and found out she started a ruck 7, I shuffled till I caught up with her for the first ever F3/FIA Basecamp convergence. I didn’t get the intended time hack done but I did get some quality time with the M. We went a little over but by 8:10 the four miles were done.
SYITG. Aye!
