Thanksgiving week and YHC couldn’t help but pay homage to the pilgrims. I don’t know that much about them other than times were hard and that the first Thanksgiving was supposedly celebrated in 1621 after a good harvest. Today, the only goal would be to make sure that the PAX (and YHC) could remember 1621 as the year. 

Warm up:

SSH x 16

Merkins x 21 (pax almost forgot the date here)

The Thang:

Circle of pain: Start with the circle driveway

Bataan Death March x 1 lap

Last pax drops and does 3 burpees and then runs to the front of the slow jogging pax. A good warmup to what was coming.

Sprint x 6 laps (30 second count off between laps)

Just straight up AYG run around the circle. Everyone sucking wind as we approached the busses. This routine led to a few pax complaints that the Jag wasn’t a running workout. I reminded them to check the Q sheet first. 

Catch me if you can x 2 laps

Partner up. Partner 1 runs backwards (Bernie sanders) and partner 2 does 5 burpees. Sprint to catch partner 1. Switch. Do 2 laps.

Plank it out with a 21 count at the end.

Recovery mosey x 1 lap

Swingset Set:

Mosey to the swing set.

Keep partners from catch me if you can for some swing-set work. Partner not currently doing exercise will do dead arm hang while waiting.
