YHC signed up to Q The Rabbit well before the dreaded injury bug struck again (will the third time be the charm?). I’d been on the fence about whether to keep the Q or not but with the knee at about 90% and having posted at the THicket a week prior, I knew it was time to get back out there again. Horny Toad gave me ample opportunity to drop, but in reality I wanted to do it. So let’s get to it….

BOM
The first 2-3 weeks on the IR really sucked. I missed the gloom. I missed the chatter. Slack depressed me. But then, I got used to it. I slept in every morning. Stayed up late watching movies and reruns of the Office. I could get used to this, I thought.
And then today, I was reminded of those lazy mornings as I trailed well behind the rest of the PAX on the steady incline up Great Ridge Parkway back to the AO. I was gassed.
So I guess the message is, don’t get too comfortable. There’s definitely a price to pay for lazy living. So rest when you need it, but remember that remaining stagnant and comfortable isn’t where you’re meant to be.
