Why didn’t I plan this out

So YHC signed up for the Q while and dinner on Friday night and promptly forgot about it until about 6:47am on Saturday morning.  So with 13 full minutes to plan while driving this is what came from it.  19 PAX (including 3 FNG’s) assembled on the pitch to begin the journey of enlightenment known at Thin Blue Line.  YHC started the journey off with a slaughter starter which received a highly emotional response of joy.  Then YHC informed PAX that a slaughter starter was 20 burpees OYO.  Not so much joy after that.

Following the slaughter we warmed up.

The Thang

line up on the side line – sprint to other side and plank (4 times total)

Played Catch me if you can – PAX numbered off 1-4 and YHC explained that in each corner of half the field there is an exercise.  15 squats, 10 merkins, 10 jump lunges, 10 CDD.  Each numbered PAX went to one corner.  Goal was to do exercise at each corner and run to next corner while trying to catch the group of PAX in front of you.  Game continued until all PAX where one big group.

Next was on to the basketball court for WMD’s and Jacobs Ladder bear crawls and crawl bears with SSH and Merkins.  We did 11’s

YHC then had PAX grab a rock and we lunge walked around the circle while doing side to sides and stopping to do curls and overheads.

We returned to the field and did high knees to mid field and then ran backwards to the end line.  We also did bunny hops and sprints.
