May Day Queue, led by Lowtide and Crimson. We welcomed an FNG who became Coat Factory. Apologies for the delayed post – low-tech QICs.
Lowtide started us off with warm up: 40 SSH, 10 imperial walker, 20 baby arm circles, 20 slow merkins, and willie mays haze.
Crimson took the helm and we moseyed over to the tennis courts. Lights were on already – seemed like baseball practice. So PAX head over to the baseline.
Lap w/ 10 merkins at each corner, run lengths, karaoke widths back to baseline for some down and backs over the 4 tennis courts.
– sprint first court & bear crawl back, second court & lunge walk back, third court & bear crawl back, fourth court & lunge walk back.
– rinse & repeat but sub crab walks for bear crawls.
– plank hold until the PAX finish
Partner up 1s & 2s
– 1s run down & backs over each of 4 courts while 2s do air squats, switch
– rinse & repeat with merkins
– rinse & repeat with merkins/air squats and bear crawl down & backs (but only for two courts, YHC was getting winded)
– PAX take another lap with 10 merkins at each corner, run length and karaoke widths
– back to baseline for 2 sets of people’s chair and B2W, 30 seconds each first set. To failure second set. Had to call it – some of the PAX just won’t give up.
Lowtide covered a few minutes of mary to finish off the queue: 30 flutter kicks, 10 WW2, 10 Russian Hammers and 10 LBCs.
Really a pleasure to lead the workout and both Crimson and Lowtide deeply appreciate the Pax and the opportunity here. Thanks for a great VQ fellas!
